Terrain Analysis is the analysis and interpretation of topographic
\nfeatures through geographic information systems. Such features include
\nslope, aspect, viewshed, elevation, contour lines, flow, upslope
\nflowlines and dowslope flowlines. The intention is to build mathematical
\n abstraction of surface terrain in order to delineate or stratify
\nlandscapes and create an understanding of relationships between
\necological processes and physical features.<\/div>\n

ISRO’s Cartosat-3 data downloaded from the Bhuvan portal for the Dehradun
region (capital of the northern state of Uttarakhand in India). Hence
the data used for this analysis was 30m resolution, so the other DEM for
comparison was created of 90m resolution to fulfill the complete task.<\/div>\n
