Ravi Kumar Pandey is a PhD candidate in Energy, Environment, and Atmospheric Sciences, working at the intersection of urban climate, geospatial analytics, and data-driven spatial planning. His research focuses on modeling the relationships between urban form, thermal environments, and air quality to support climate-resilient and human-centered cities.<\/p>

He develops high-resolution urban climate models by integrating Earth Observation data, GIS, and machine learning. His work combines satellite datasets, field measurements, and simulation approaches to analyze microclimate dynamics, identify urban hotspots, and evaluate adaptation strategies.<\/p>

Ravi is the founder of CityAI, an initiative focused on advancing geospatial intelligence, spatial data infrastructure, and research-driven urban analytics. His professional experience includes working as a GIS Application Specialist at the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing under Indian Space Research Organisation<\/span><\/span>, as well as leading and coordinating GIS-based urban development projects across multiple cities in India.<\/p>

He holds a joint Master\u2019s degree as an Erasmus+ scholar from the University of Salzburg in Austria and Palack\u00fd University Olomouc in Czechia. He completed his graduate research in Geoinformatics through a collaboration between ITC at the University of Twente and IIRS-ISRO. He earned his Bachelor\u2019s degree in Planning from the School of Planning and Architecture in Bhopal.<\/p>
